Hans Fuecker – Pianist, Composer & Arranger
Hans Fuecker is a German pianist, composer, and arranger with a career spanning multiple decades across jazz, classical, and Latin genres. He studied classical piano at the Maastricht Conservatory under Prof. Barbara Grajewska, and expanded his musical versatility by studying composition and jazz trombone with Jiggs Whigham in Cologne.
As a sought-after instrumentalist and arranger, he has collaborated with prominent acts such as Latin House, Connexion Latina, and salsa legend Larry Harlow. His concert tours have included performances with jazz greats like Buddy DeFranco, Dusko Goykovich, and Matthias Rüegg, as well as shared stages with icons such as Mel Lewis, Christian McBride, and Marc Johnson.
In addition to his work as a performer, Hans Fuecker has led numerous musical projects and composed commissioned works for a wide array of artists, including Natascha Wright, Django Reinhardt’s descendants Mike & Moro Reinhard, and the Rheinische Symphonie Koblenz. His compositions have also been featured by major German broadcasters such as WDR, SWR, and HR.

Paulo Neves – Double Bassist & Electric Bassist
Paulo Neves is a Portuguese musician with more than 30 years of experience, known for his versatility, dedication, and deep musical knowledge. His musical journey began in 1991 at Top Music School in Cascais, where he studied electric bass, music theory, history, and composition with Jorge Lee and Isabel Randão.
In 1998, he expanded into classical double bass studies at the Almada Conservatory under the guidance of José Eduardo. During this period, he joined the Almada Big Band, gaining experience in jazz and improvisation, and also participated in chamber ensembles.
As a session musician, Paulo has recorded and performed with numerous Portuguese artists, including José Carvalho, Telmo Campos, Hugo Edgar, and Pacas. His live collaborations include work with Kika Santos, Carla Pires (fado), Ana Laíns (folk), and pop singer Rita Guerra.
In the jazz, soul, and world music scenes, he has played with Orlanda Guilande, Maria Viana, Maria Anadon, and international artists like George Esteves, Philip Hamilton, and Hans Fuecker. He is also active in instrumental and contemporary jazz projects such as the Nebuchadnezzar Group, Cláudio Alves Quartet, Nanã Sousa Dias Quartet, and Leandro Tuche Quartet.
Paulo has performed with international jazz legends including Andrea Pozza, Kirk Lightsey, Peter Ingram, and Lenore Raphael. His playing is defined by rhythmic clarity, stylistic adaptability, and a strong sense of musical collaboration, making him a sought-after bassist across diverse genres and stages.

Alê Damasceno – Drummer, Producer & Music Educator
Alê Damasceno is a Brazilian drummer with over 20 years of experience as a performer, producer, and music educator. He is currently a PhD candidate in Musical Arts – Performance at the New University of Lisbon and holds a Master’s degree in Music Performance from UNICAMP, a specialization in Higher Education Teaching from FMU, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music (Drums) from Alcântara Machado Arts College.
He has taught at prestigious music institutions in São Paulo, including Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado, Faculdade Santa Marcelina, and Fundação das Artes de São Caetano do Sul. As a session musician, he has contributed to several acclaimed Brazilian instrumental and popular music recordings, such as Zizi Possi’s DVD Para Inglês Ver e Ouvir (TIM Award nominee), and albums by Cid Campos and the group Aquilo Del Nisso.
Throughout his career, Alê has performed with renowned artists including Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa, Arnaldo Antunes, Jaques Morelenbaum, and international musicians like Phil deGreg, Vincent Gardner, Eva Jagun, and Iva Bittova. He has also played with orchestras and ensembles such as the Diadema Jazz Symphony Orchestra, Heliópolis Symphony Orchestra, and the Comboio Group.
As a researcher, he focuses on “Brazilian Drums” and is the author of A Batucada Fantástica de Luciano Perrone, published by OmniScriptum. He is currently developing the educational method Brazilian Grooves with Flávio Barba and Marinho Andreotti and is preparing the first album of the Cosmo Sound Collective featuring compositions by Hermeto Pascoal. He also plays with the TODOS Orchestra, an international ensemble dedicated to world music.
